Usages allow you to keep track on where and by whom the assets are being used or have been used. The Usages are a tool for keeping the asset-specific usage history clear.

Select Usages on the left sidebar to see the list of usages. On the Usages page you can see a list of all the usages created in your Trackinno asset management service. On the last column on the list, you can select actions for the usages. By clicking the assets’ names you can view and edit the asset information.
You can select the number of usages shown in the list below the list on the left. You can scroll the list horizontally using the scroll bars both above and below the list. You can order the list by a certain column by clicking the column header. In the columns, by which the list can be ordered, the headers are shown as links.
You can access usage information by clicking either the holder or the type of the usage on the usages list. You can edit the usage information, for example add assets or change dates.
Quick filter and advanced filtering
On the Usages page you can use both Quick filter and Advanced filtering to search for usages. When using the Quick filter, simply insert a keyword into the filter field. By using the Advanced filtering feature, you can filter the list by columns. After adding a filter, the used filter is shown above the list. You can add more filters or remove filter by clicking the icon.
The View options button allows you to determine which data fields are shown on the asset list and in which order. Select Show deleted function, if you want to see the deleted assets on top of the list. Select Hide completed function, if you want to hide the completed usages on the list.
You can select one or more usages on the list by clicking the checkboxes. By selecting usages, several function buttons appear above the usage list. By using the Show only selected feature, you can easily show assets selected from different pages of the list.
Use the Bulk edit button to delete multiple usages simultaneously. Use Other actions button to export usage information.
Adding a new usage / Making a new reservation
Add a new usage or make a new reservation on the upper right corner of the Usages page. Select a holder for the usage/reservation. The holder can be a location or a user. Add assets for the usage/reservation. Select the start and end dates and add a description if necessary. Finish up by clicking Create usage / Make reservation.
On the Usages list you can use different actions that are found on the last column of the list. Actions include Edit, Remove, Check out, and Check in. The available actions depend on the usage’s status.
If the usage status is completed, available actions are Edit and Remove. Click Edit if you want to edit the usage information (e.g. the end date). Click Remove if you want to delete the usage.
If the status is ongoing, available actions are Edit, Remove, and Check in. Select Check in if you want to end the usage and transfer the usage’s assets to another holder.
If the status is pending, available actions are Edit, Remove, and Check out. Select Check out if you want to start a reserved usage.
